The Way We Are

“this might be healing”

a wholesome podcast from Cagla & Ozgu

We’re Cagla & Ozgu

Two childhood friends who grew up together in Turkey and built our adult lives oceans apart, in London and Las Vegas. Over 20 years of friendship, we’ve seen each other through heartbreaks, burnouts, big dreams, new cities, and healing journeys.

The Way We Are is our space for honest, unfiltered conversations about life.. The raw, the real, and the beautiful in-between.

We hope it feels like a warm call from an old friend. The kind that makes you exhale and think, "okay, maybe I’m not alone."

About the Podcast

“This Might Be Healing” isn’t just a tagline. It’s our intention.

We talk about what it means to be 30-something women navigating life far from home. The messy middle of healing, growth, identity, relationships, work, womanhood, and starting over.

Each episode is a deep dive into things we wish we heard more often. Not perfectly polished stories. But real moments from real lives.

You’ll hear laughter, heartbreak, wisdom, softness, resilience. All the things that come with being the way we are.

Ozgu Elveren

Operations & Project Analyst • Author • Dog Mum

Hey I’m Ozgu, but you can call me Ozzy. I’m a curious soul from Europe, now figuring life out in Las Vegas. I’ve bounced around the world, picked up pieces of different cultures along the way, and somewhere in between, became someone who really loves real conversations, good energy, and connecting with all kinds of people.

I ask a lot of questions (like, a lot), I listen without judgment, and I somehow always make people feel like they’ve known me forever. I’m not afraid to talk about the messy, awkward, or uncomfortable stuff because honestly, we all go through it. And no one should feel like they’re the only one.

Cagla Kabaca

Floral Designer • Photographer • Founder of Hidden Botanics

Hey, I’m Cagla, (pronounced as Chaala). I’m a floral designer living in London, but honestly, art has been in my life since day one. Whether it’s flowers, photography, or painting with light and color, creating has always been my way of speaking to the world.

I see beauty in the little things and love discovering new perspectives, about people, places, and life itself. I’ve always had a big, open heart and an even bigger curiosity. Real conversations come easy with me, maybe because I’m a good listener… or maybe because I’ve never been afraid to go deep.
